Joe Haden Thinks Josh Gordon, Off A 10-Game Suspension, Will Rack Up 250 Yards This Weekend

If you're wildly optimistic about Josh Gordon in his first game back from a reduced suspension, you're either a from Cleveland, and/or a dude who's been stashing Gordon on your fantasy team since like Week 2, or Joe Haden, the Browns cornerback who thinks Gordon is going to wreck the Falcons this Sunday.
"It wouldn't surprise me if he went out there and had 250, even a little bit," said Haden.
Has Gordon shared with Haden exactly what he wants to accomplish in these final six games?
"Well, he has, but I don't want to talk about it," he said with a smile...
"The thing about JG is that he makes it look so effortless,'' said Haden. "It's unique when you see a guy so big running routes so smooth, and he's moving really fast. He's a special talent."
Haden isn't the only member of the Browns who's psyched for Gordon's return. If anything, head coach Mike Pettine said he has to make sure QB Brian Hoyer knows not to force feed Gordon against Atlanta, who will likely be zeroed in on stopping him -- even if the Falcons are terrible against the pass:
"He looked great in a uniform, I can tell you that,'' said Pettine.
He kidded that Hoyer was "like a kid with a new toy at Christmas. At practice, every time (Gordon) was out there, the ball somehow mysteriously went his way. (But) Brian gets it. He's smart enough to know, whether Josh is out there or not, that it's got to go where the read takes him."
He added, "we just have to careful with Brian when Josh is out there so he doesn't develop tunnel vision, that the ball goes to where the read takes him because, obviously, I think Atlanta's well aware of Josh and his ability and will set their plans accordingly."
So if you're still wondering whether to start Gordon in his first game back, stop it -- dude is locked in as a WR1. He may not go for 250 yards, but according to fantasypros.com (which aggregates 100+ expert rankings and spits out a consensus on every player each week), he's the number 13 receiver this week. Start him.
