Ed Werder of ESPN said that he talked with Manziel, who told him that he's aware there may be skeptics, but that it would "only take one team to believe in me and I'll do anything to make that possibility."
Manziel spent time in rehab two years ago and it obviously didn't work.
Manziel was drafted 22nd overall by the Cleveland Brown in May of 2014, and the partying began almost immediately. First it was a trip to Vegas with Rob Gronkowski, and then in early June he was famously photographed drinking champagne on a giant inflatable swan during a party in Austin, TX.
So he's sober now? Great. Hope he's right. But I'd be surprised if any agent took him on now, let alone any NFL team. Staying sober is a full time job in itself, and I'd imagine people would like to see him succeed at that for an extended period before they rush to hand him the ball.
