Johnny Manziel the New York Jet Savior-The Fairy Tale
Earlier today their were reports of Johnny Manziel expressing interest from NFL teams. Manziel last played in the NFL in 2015 with the Cleveland Browns. After having trouble with alcohol Johnny entered himself into a rehab facility to try to get his life together. After working out the past couple of years Manziel is ready to make his comeback.
Now lets enter fantasy land and write a Johnny Football a fairy tale story.
ONCE UPON A TIME, After skipping out on Mike Glennon, Tony Romo and Jay Cutler in free agency and not taking a quarterback in the draft the New York Jets decide to take a chance on Manziel. After signing a one year deal he beats out Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg in the pre-season and becomes the opening day starter. After having a decent season going 8-8 the Jets decide to re-sign Manziel to a three year contract. The next year Johnny Football has a breakout year as he throws for 6,000 yards and 50 touchdowns and runs for 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns. Putting up career numbers he helps secure the Jets a first round bye in the playoffs and first in the division.
Winning his first ever playoff game the Jets head into the AFC Championship game against Manziels former team the Cleveland Browns. After being down three with 1:00 left on the clock and the ball on the one yard line Johnny Football drives down 99 yards and scores the game winning touchdown to advance the Jets to the Super Bowl.
In his ever Super Bowl game Manziel lights up the field as he throws for 400 yards and five touchdowns and helps the Jets win their second Super Bowl.
