Joseph Randle Can’t Afford Bail, Lawyer After Recent Arrest
In one of the stranger tales to come out of the Dallas Cowboys this past season was the blatant disregard running back Joseph Randle had for the opportunity set in front of him, with DeMarco Murray leaving for Phliadelphia.
After the Cowboys released him in November, Randle has been arrested three times – the third of which came Sunday morning in Kansas when he was booked on three charges, including battery, drug possession and criminal damage. (This was also his fifth arrest over the past 17 months.)
Sadly, the former fifth-round pick told a judge Wednesday morning that he didn’t have enough money to afford the $100,000 bail or a lawyer.
His three recent arrests ranged from drug possession, drunken assault and theft, but this latest incident came from when he allegedly tried to run over three people with a car.
Joseph Randle getting busted for stealing underwear was pretty funny. Trying to run folks over in his car (allegedly). Not so much.

The Cowboys had the best rushing game in the NFL last year, and Murray parlayed free agency into a big deal with the Eagles, leaving the starting tailback job open for Randle, who had to fend off free-agent signee Darren McFadden.
After several team issues, the Cowboys finally gave up on Randle and released him, and the NFL followed up by suspending him four games due to violating their personal conduct policy.
In 2013, Randle signed a four-year rookie deal for $2.35 million.
