Judge Hammers NFL Into Thin, Flat Sheet At Deflategate Hearing … Also, These Exist

Deflategate has fractured our vulnerable nation perhaps beyond repair, as Brady lovers and Brady haters dig in for the long two weeks until the next Tom Brady-NFL court hearing. If you don't live in New England, certain portions of Michigan or the San Francisco Bay Area, chances are you hate Brady with the heat of a thousand suns, and want him sent to federal prison.
But if you live in one of those places, or are a lone, frightened Brady-lover on the run in some other state, then you are busy making portraits such as these:
Actually the one in the middle is from a Daily Show With Jon Stewartsegment from back in May, but there are others out there, and it's only a matter of time before someone in Brookline sees his face in a pancake.
They held another Deflategate hearing today in New York, and earlier today Brady's lawyers said that he would be open to some kind of reduced suspension for not cooperating in the NFL investigation, but still won't budge on accepting the Wells Report. The two sides battled again today. It did not go well for the NFL.
[Judge Richard] Berman was apparently very critical of the NFL's argument:
UPDATE: Hearing over after 2:15. No settlement. Judge Berman was very, very critical of NFL. Brady/NFLPA are making a good case
But it's not over. Berman ordered the sides back in court on Aug. 31, if no agreement has been reached by then. At such a late date, it's looking like Brady will get at least some kind of suspension -- to be let off entirely on he last day of August with the regular season arriving on Sept. 10 is just kind of nuts.
