The King’s Updated Week 4 Rankings, Starts, Worries, Injuries and DFS Plays
ROTOXCLIP: Scott Engel interviews Nationals star Ryan Zimmerman about his Fantasy Football squad.
This week’s Engel’s Angles is your quick-hitting Fantasy Handbook for Week 4. Here is what you will find as I get you ready for Fantasy victory.
Start and Smile: These are not starts and sits. They are often guys who will make you feel reassured about this week’s outlooks, but yes, they do include value plays in many instances.
Watch and Worry: Players with less favorable outlooks. But you can’t just bench them. Sometimes the players pinpointed here are just too good to reserve and you have to start them because they can still potentially produce well enough through adversity.
Inside Injuries Insights: The RotoExperts In-Season Xclusive Edge Package now features in-depth and essential analysis from Inside Injuries. Their info can be critical to your lineup decisions. Using our linked player cards, or the player search box in the top right of every page, you can find updated and detailed injury info on every player. The Inside Injuries area is at the top right of every RotoExperts Xclusive Edge player card.

Week 2 Lineup Rankings: Fully updated at the bottom of this file.
New Orleans at Miami
Start and Smile: Coby Fleener should get some scoring chances and Ted Ginn Jr. may haul in another deep ball. Alvin Kamara will give the Miami LBs a lot of trouble.
Watch and Worry: Jay Cutler should not be started in any matchup; you should have learned that last week.
Inside Injuries Issues: Jay Ajayi may not have a huge day as his Health Performance Factor is Below Average, but you cannot reserve him in this matchup.
Buffalo at Atlanta
Start and Smile: The Bills do not play well on the road and most of your key Falcons will do well. The defense is also a viable play. Charles Clay will continue to produce, though.
Watch and Worry: Tyrod Taylor is not going to be able to trade offensive punches with Matt Ryan.
Inside Injuries Issues: LeSean McCoy is banged up and his HPF is Below Average. You have to start him, though, as he will continue to catch balls out of the backfield.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Clay at $7,400
Pittsburgh at Baltimore
Start and Smile: Jeremy Maclin could fare well working in the slot. The Ravens have allowed four receiving TDs to TEs, so consider Jesse James if you are desperate.
Watch and Worry: This may not be a week for Javorius Allen to get back on track.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: James at 6,000
Cincinnati at Cleveland
Start and Smile: The Bengals defense is a top stream for turnovers. Joe Mixon should get more volume and maybe some goal-line work and is a good flex play,
Watch and Worry: The matchup seems great for Andy Dalton, which means he’ll have a bad day. Isaiah Crowell is in for more game script doom.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: A.J. Green will be worth the $16,300 you spend on him.
LA Rams at Dallas
Start and Smile: Todd Gurley gets volume and a better matchup with Sean Lee hurting. Cooper Kupp attacks the Cowboys in the slot and rebounds this week.
Watch and Worry: The Rams have allowed 11 catches for 111 yards to tight ends and could keep Jason Witten in check.
Inside Injuries issues: Sammy Watkins has been cleared from his concussion and will start, and even though he is a High Injury Risk, Watkins could put up excellent numbers if he makes it through OK.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Kupp at 8,500, and he may not be highly owned.
Tennessee at Houston
Start and Smile: The Tennessee secondary cannot hope to contain DeAndre Hopkins, and Rishard Matthews will build on last week’s momentum.
Watch and Worry: Lamar Miller is in real danger of losing more carries to D’Onta Foreman. If the Titans get pressure and mix up their looks against DeShaun Watson, he could be inconsistent.
Inside Injuries issues: DeMarco Murray practiced in full and his outlook seems to have improved a bit but he is not fully out of danger as a risk. Delanie Walker’s hamstring could cap his production.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Matthews at 9.700
Detroit at Minnesota
Start and Smile: Dalvin Cook is a top play against a Lions defense that was torn up by the Atlanta RBs last week. Golden Tate will produce as usual as he avoids Xavier Rhodes in the slot.
Watch and Worry: This is a stiff draw for Matthew Stafford on the road against a formidable pass defense.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Cook will be worth the $12,400 spend.
Carolina at New England
Start and Smile: Even with D’onta Hightower expected to return, Christian McCaffrey will be a chess piece for the Panthers to utilize effectively. Carolina is dealing with injury issues in the secondary and Chris Hogan will take advantage.
Watch and Worry: Even against the worst pass defense so far this year, you cannot start Cam Newton.
Inside Injuries issues: Kelvin Benjamin is expected to play even though he may not be at optimal health.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Hogan at $11,300
Jacksonville at New York Jets:
Start and Smile: Marquise Lee and Allen Hurns are both viable WR3 plug-ins.
Watch and Worry: Bilal Powell will start, but this is a very challenging matchup. Marcedes Lewis could easily disappear again.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Lee at $8,800
San Francisco at Arizona
Start and Smile: Carson Palmer could be headed for another 300-yard outing.
Watch and Worry: Pierre Garcon is going to draw Patrick Peterson, but you cannot bench him. You’ll have to sweat through it.
Inside Injuries issues: Carlos Hyde might play, but his effectiveness and reps will be in question.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Arizona defense at $6,300
Philadelphia at LA Chargers
Start and Smile: In a shootout, this will be a rebound week for Philip Rivers and Hunter Henry. Carson Wentz is also a Top 10 start this week.
Watch and Worry: Nothing really here, all key performers should be started.
Inside Injuries issues: Melvin Gordon has an HPF of 60 percent, which should be good enough to rely on him for more short yardage scores to finish drives even if the yardage output is not ideal.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Travis Benjamin for more big plays at $7,700
New York Giants at Tampa Bay
Start and Smile: The Tampa Bay defense is hurting from key injuries, so Eli Manning and Sterling Shepard could have very good outings. Cameron Brate is the TE play of the week as the Giants are always notoriously bad against the position.
Watch and Worry: You may get another disappointing performance from Jamies Winston.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Shepard at $9.900 as the Giants pull an upset for their first win.
Oakland at Denver
Start and Smile: Trevor Siemian is going to deliver another quality Fantasy performance at home. Despite the tough matchup, Amari Cooper will overcome the negativity and deliver.
Watch and Worry: Derek Carr will struggle again.
Inside Injuries issues: Michael Crabtree is a very risky start with a chest injury and a highly difficult matchup.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Cooper is a contrarian play at $11,300. I say he overcomes the knee problems and the matchup. He has to get the ball and get rolling.
Indianapolis at Seattle
Start and Smile: Chris Carson is not a star talent but he is adequate and will get in the end zone. If Doug Baldwin is out or limited Tyler Lockett could be a sneaky play.
Watch and Worry: T.Y. Hilton could get shut down much in the same way Garcon was two weeks ago in Seattle.
Inside Injuries issues: The Inside Injuries believes it is best for Baldwin to sit this week. Have an alternative ready or use another healthy option in an earlier game.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Frank Gore is a true contrarian play at $7,800 and could score on a short TD. The Seattle run defense has looked surprisingly vulnerable.
Washington at Kansas City
Start and Smile: With Jordan Reed still banged up, Vernon Davis is a nifty play again.
Watch and Worry: This a tough road assignment for Kirk Cousins otherwise.
Inside Injuries issues: Reed is dealing with three injuries and is always a concussion risk, too.
rotoexperts.com/dkms DFS play: Davis at $7,400
