Latavius Murray Gets Blown Up On Scary Play
Raiders fans had to be feeling pretty good about how their Sunday afternoon had been going. With big games from Derek Carr (three touchdowns) and Latavius Murray (96 yards on 17 carries), Oakland had the Pittsburgh Steelers on the ropes at Heinz Field, picking off Ben Roethlisberger in his own half with the score tied at 21 late in the third quarter. Then Murray took a pitch from Carr and met the wrath of Mike Mitchell while crossing the line of scrimmage at full speed. The ensuing fumble wasn't nearly as concerning as the fact that Murray obviously sustained a nasty head injury on the play.
Worse still, he laid there for all of 30 seconds before receiving medical attention.
