Let’s All Taste David Spade’s Flowing, Embittered Tears Over Michael Floyd Going To Patriots
There is something marvelously ironic about David Spade complaining that someone else lucked into something in life. Didn't the elfin comic once date Heather Locklear and Nicolette Sheridan? I rest my case.
Anyway, Spade -- the former Saturday Night Live bargain bin Dennis Miller -- is an Arizona Cardinals fan, and he's miffed that former Cardinal Michael Floyd is doing so well with the Patriots. Spade, to TMZ:
"I've never seen a guy profit so much from a DUI. You know what? I've never seen a DUI turn a guy's life around."
Floyd, the Cardinals' first-round draft pick in 2012, was put on waivers on Dec. 14, two days after his DUI arrest in Tempe, AZ. He was publicly scolded by Cardinals’ president Michael Bidwell for being “unapologetic.”
The Patriots scooped him up off waivers, and Floyd has played well for them -- four catches for 42 yards and a TD in two games, plus some pretty great blocks.
This does not sit well with Spade, who is from Arizona (I didn't think anyone was from Arizona -- I thought people just moved there). He must be jealous over those who can do more than one thing, as Spade's range consists of being a snarky jerk, and reacting to things Chris Farley did.
