Lions' Fauria Sprains Ankle Trying To Stop Lil' Rufio, His Puppy, From Peeing Inside
Just a week ago, the Detroit Lions lost linebacker Stephen Tulloch for the remainder of the season as he tore his ACL while celebrating a play. That was pretty funny, but it doesn't even compare in the slightest to how Detroit tight end Joseph Fauria sprained his ankle, as announced by the team today.
According to inside sources within the Lions' organization (namely their Twitter account), Fauria was attempting to stop his dog, Lil' Rufio, from peeing inside of the house. He misstepped and injured his ankle.
Really. Actually. Seriously. A professional football player sprained his ankle while trying to make a five-pound puppy stop urinating on the carpet.

We can also confirm that Lil' Rufio is a Pomsky, which means that he is half Pomeranian, half Husky, and 100 percent adorable.
Here are some photos of the alleged culprit:
Is Lil' Rufio the cutest dog I've ever seen? Yes, I'm actually pretty sure that he is.
Will Roger Goodell fine Lil' Rufio anyway. Yes, I'm pretty sure that he will.
