It’s awfully hard to blow people’s minds at this point in human history, because we’ve seen just about everything (muchas gracias, internet). Cats playing the piano, great white sharks just chilling on the beach, even a chase sequence from a horror film where the girl running from the murder keeps farting — these are three of the most incredibly awesome things imaginable, existing on the edge of what the mind can comprehend without exploding out through the nasal canal.
It can’t get any better, right? The internet has hit it’s peak, right?
Nope — EA Sports was like “FUCK THAT WE’RE GONNA MAKE SOMETHING AWESOME-ER-ER!” Those geniuses went and shot a five-minute trailer for a B-action movie starring Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin), who are tasked with beating some super criminal in Madden 16 in exchange for the life of a girl. As if that wasn’t cool enough (it is), the two mulleted heros have to amass a superteam of Madden playmakers disguised as a variety of bizarre characters, like Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman, or whatever this is…
Suffice it to say this ad is a testament to the incredible feats human beings are capable of. It stands alone as a perfect work of art, expertly crafted into a mind-boggling, bro-y, Tim & Eric fever dream on mescaline…on mescaline. It’s perfect. It is eternal. In fact, it’s so good that we’re kind of pissed it isn’t an actual movie — or a playable video game.
Shotty on Lil’ Pepper!
