Marshawn Lynch Repeats He’s Retired Four Times Then Asked If He’s Retired Again
Marshawn Lynch is an enigma. That's not telling you anything you didn't already know. Since Lynch announced he was retiring via Twitter, it has seemed inevitable that rumors would pop up that he was going to come back. Teammate Richard Sherman threw wood onto the fire. Former teammate and good friend Michael Robinson threw out the idea as well.
On Showtime's "60 Minutes Sports", Marshawn Lynch was asked the question if he's coming back. Over and over and over.
This wasn't one of those sly Roger Clemens smiles or Brett Favre "I don't see that happening". Lynch's response was as matter of fact as it gets. He enjoyed football, he's done and he's going to watch his cousins play. He has no interest in ever playing again. We understand that Lynch gives out very few interviews and when you have him talking you want to get the most out of it. But, try and find a different way to ask maybe? Try to find a different variation?
As for his agent saying "never say never"? Well can you blame the guy for wanting another paycheck from his cash cow?
