Mike Ditka Supports Donald Trump, Has A Solution For Deflategate

First Tom Brady, and now this. Mike Ditka (Da Bears) has come out in strong support of Donald Trump for President, saying in a Chicago Sun-Times interview released today that Trump would make a good Commander In Chief. Ditka:
"I do like Donald Trump. I think he, sometimes he's gotta think a little bit more before he says things, but I think he's on the right track."
Ditka considers himself ulta-conservative, but has been all over the map in recent years. He supported Democratic Illinois gubernatorial candidate Pat Quinn in 2010, then endorsed Republican Bruce Rauner for governor in 2014. Ditka himself declined to run for an Illinois U.S. Senate seat in 2004, a race eventually won by Barack Obama.
"I think that he has the fire in his belly to make America great again and probably do it the right way. I do like him, yes. I do like him," he said of Trump.
In the same interview, Ditka explained Deflategate:
"I don’t think there’s anything to it, but that’s just me. And I’m sure a lot of people disagree with that. I don’t think the Patriots have to cheat to win, or Bill Belichick or Tom Brady. That’s only my opinion. But I know one thing: you can’t be the judge, jury and executioner. Maybe if the NFL went after this in a different way, maybe they would have had better success than what they did. I’m glad Brady is not suspended. That’s good for football."
Then, a brief moment of clarity:
"To me it’s mind boggling. It’s very simple: if you want to change the rules, everyone plays with the same damn ball! You don’t clean your own balls up. You take the balls out of the box, the official has them and everyone plays with the same damn ball. It’s not too hard to figure out."
@Teffind When you think about it, what is Mike Ditka but Trump + football knowledge?
