MSNBC's Joe Scarborough Goes Off On NFL, Adrian Peterson
After news surfaced that Adrian Peterson may have gashed the forehead of one of his other sons, MSNBC's Morning Joe read aloud some incriminating text messages between AP and the mother of the child. "Be still n take ya whooping," Peterson wrote.
"He would've saved the scar [sic]."
Host Joe Scarborough did not take kindly to Peterson's cavalier tone about inflicting bodily harm on a four-year-old -- or that the Vikings have decided NOT to bench him this Sunday.
"What else do we need to know? [Peterson's text conversation] is out there and the Vikings are playing him?" guest panelist Donny Deutsch asked. "The fact that the Vikings are playing him on Sunday is sick," Scarborough replied. "And if the money grubbing beasts in the NFL don't give a damn about women being beaten up, can they not pretend that they care about 4-year-old children? Why are the Vikings even thinking about playing this guy? This guy should be banned from the NFL for a year."
