Myles Garrett Wants The Dallas Cowboys To Make Another Jerry Jones Move
On Friday February 10th, Potential Number 1 Overall Pick Myles Garrett was at ESPN where he sat down and made a stupid video that was supposed to excite and catch the eye of Cowboys fans nation wide. In the video he says "Take Tony Romo, Take a couple of picks and give them to Cleveland so you can pick me up. Please. Id Love to play in Dallas. Please make it happen." Thanks, but no thanks Myles. If Jerry Jones made this move it would be time to check him into the retirement home his son has been patiently waiting to place him in for a few years now.
There are so many red flags in this situation that the Browns would actually accept this trade. For starters, 36 year old Tony Romo would not even get on the plane to Cleveland. He has said multiple times that the only way he would play again somewhere else, is if he had the perfect situation. Hue Jackson and the 2016 1-15 Cleveland Browns is not what Tony would consider a perfect situation. Correction: Hue Jackson and the 2016 1-15 Cleveland Browns is not what ANY QUARTERBACK would consider a perfect situation. The Cowboys have too much respect for Tony Romo to let him go die in Cleveland like every other QB that has. Another red flag is the idea of trading away quality draft picks for a player we have yet to see play in the NFL. If you rewind a couple years back to the 2014 NFL draft you will remember the trade buzz the Cowboys had to deal with then regarding star QB Johnny Football. Many analysts believed Jerry Jones was going to trade up through the entire draft to get Johnny Manziel to be Tonys successor. Cowboys fan anxiously watched the whole draft waiting for Jerry to ruin Dallas forever only to be confused as they selected now 2x Pro-Bowler Zack Martin. This taught Cowboys fan that there are people in the organization who are now making decisions over Jerry Jones. Sorry Myles Garrett but the people in charge of the Cowboys now got a draft class last year that consisted of Zeke, Dak and Jaylon Smith. Tony will likely stay in Dallas this offseason which may lead to the end of his career but any smart NFL player would chose retirement over playing for the Cleveland Browns.
