There are plenty of NFL players that have not managed to escape the justified criticism hurled their way in response to their declined – and in some cases downright atrocious – performances in the 2016 season thus far.
Ryan Fitzpatrick has been the worst starting quarterback in the league by a mile, the Brock Osweiler “let’s completely overpay him and hope he turns out to be a lot better than he’s ever actually been” experiment has officially failed in Houston, Coby Fleener was all but invisible until Week 6 and the entire Carolina Panthers defense seems to have evaporated into thin air with the loss of one elite defensive back.
That’s all not to mention the inexplicable roller coaster ride that has been Antonio Brown, who either catches for 100+ yards and 2 TDs or 40 yards and no touchdowns. And it all might be a little easier to process if it weren’t for people like Sam Bradford and Lorenzo Alexander playing like they’re Tom Brady and JJ Watt. It’s all been a super fun gamble for fantasy football players so far…
WE’RE LIVING IN THE UPSIDE DOWN.
So in the interest of helping my fellow fans, fantasy players and lovers of football to prepare themselves for the rest of the season ahead, I’ve compiled a short list of more players whose questionable 2016 performances deserve a tad more scrutiny.
