NJ Senator Cory Booker’s Stripper Friend Works Giants Game As Sideline Reporter, Because, Journalism

  • Rick Chandler

Cory Booker became the first African-American U.S. Senator from New Jersey in October in a special election to succeed Frank Lautenberg, who died in office. And he won despite the fact that he had a public Twitter friendship with a Portland, Ore., exotic dancer named Lynsie Lee. Or maybe it wasn’t surprising, because this is New Jersey.

Anyway, Ms. Lee is taking her (literally) overnight fame and running with it. She got a one-time gig as a “guest reporter” at the New York Giants-Oakland Raiders game on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, working for the TV news gossip show Chasing New Jersey.

As one can see below, Ms. Lee “reeeeaaally” wants to get into sports reporting, and she seems to have a knack for it: her day at MetLife consisted of jiggling around on the sideline for a bit, then retreating to the press box “because it was cold” and sending out a bunch of tweets.

Check out the Instagram video of her dancing around.

Actually this isn’t a bad idea:

Will Ms. Lee get a sideline reporting job? Of course decisions like these are usually left to Brent Musburger, but we’ll see what happens.

Thanks to the great Hugging Harold Reynolds.
