Have you ever been watching the games with your friends and family on a beautiful NFL Sunday and thought to yourself, ‘if only these guys had been given a tutorial from a bunch of old white men on how to dance, this game would be perfect’? If so, the league’s new tutorial video is the answer to your incredibly specific prayers.
On Wednesday, the NFL’s Vice President of Football Operations, Troy Vincent, tweeted an adorable photo of some Falcons players hugging it out – along with an announcement that the league intends to make players sit through a tutorial on how to celebrate during a game.
We're developing an educational training video for players to show clear examples of appropriate and inappropriate celebrations. pic.twitter.com/3yzBxAaQuk

An educational training video? Am I the only one who shudders with chills when hearing that phrase?
Being an adult who is one of the best in the world at your job is supposed to mean that one of the very few things you can definitively count on is that you’ll never, ever have to watch another educational training video. This is a betrayal of an unspoken code among civilized grown ups.
It’s also insulting, demeaning, gratuitous and tone deaf but I mean… CLASSIC NFL, right?!
The best part about this is that they aren’t just going to show them how to dance, high five and pat each other on the butts – they’re going to show how not to! Jesus. I see absolutely no way this goes wrong…
