Nothing Says ‘I’m Back’ Like Johnny Manziel Retweeting A Charlie Sheen Message At 3 A.M.
Johnny Manziel's family has asked him to enter a second round of rehab, which the Browns' quarterback has refused. Ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley, who claims that Manziel has struck her on more than one occasion, has obtained a protective order against him. The Browns are planning to release him on March 9, when the new season officially begins. And he's been dumped by his agent.
But Manziel insists there is hope for his career. He will turn over a new leaf ... starting now. At least that's what it looks like he's thinking, according to his retweet from Monday:

Yes -- after not being seen on social media since January, Manziel on Monday retweeted this old motivational tweet from Charlie Sheen. Sheen's backstory is well known of course, with the latest news being that he recently revealed that he is HIV-positive. And Manziel is using him to announce to the football world that he's going to mend his ways and come back strong.
Well, come back strong.
Best part: According to Barstool Sports, the retweet came at 3 a.m.
New York Post:
“His family and I have gone to great lengths to outline the steps we feel he must take to get his life in order,” Manziel’s former agent Erik Burkhardt said earlier this month. “It has become painfully obvious that his future rests solely in his own hands.”
Dallas police reportedly have obtained surveillance footage of Manziel’s alleged assault of Crowley, and the Heisman Trophy winner’s future rests in the hands of the authorities.
With Sheen in his corner, I see no way this ends badly.
