Now That He Plays In New York, Janoris Jenkins Is Channeling His Inner Antonio Cromartie
When Antonio Cromartie arrived in New York, he became infamous for his nine children. Of course, those nine children are now up to 12. Despite getting a vasectomy, Cromartie has had no problem continuing to have children. Although 12 children may seem excessive to us (as well as Cromartie's wallet), he's finding a way to get it done. Janoris Jenkins on the other hand, feels "blessed" for his five children with four different mothers.
The new $62.5 million man is just 27 years old and had four of his five children before he ever made it to the NFL. But Jenkins considers himself a fantastic father.
Via the New York Post...“I’m a great father,” Jenkins said. “I take care of my kids. I do what I got to do. I’m not the guy that’s gonna flash my kids, put ’em out on social media for everybody to see.”
Although his children live in Florida, Jenkins makes it a point to be part of his kid's lives. His oldest child, Janoris Jr., is eight years old. The good news is that Jenkins evidently has a wonderful relationship with all of his baby mamas.
“Have you ever heard anything about my baby mamas?” he asked. “Have you ever seen my baby mamas come out and say, ‘Oh, he’s not being a father?’ When they were going with me, they understand, ‘OK, he’s a football player. He’s gonna have multiple women.’ That just comes with dating a football player.”
You hear that ladies? If you want some of Janoris, you're going to have to just deal that he is going to have relationships with other women. It's part of the concept of dating a rich NFL player.
While Bartolo Colon was in court this week in regards to child support for his secret family, Janoris Jenkins is more than happy to give more money to his extended family, after signing his new big contract.
“It depends on what they’re asking for,” Jenkins said. “If you got baby mamas that want to be flashy and want money for them and not the kid, then it’s a problem. But when you got baby mamas that want money for the kids and not them, it’s not a problem.
“It didn’t change me,” Jenkins said. “All it did was, I called each one of my baby mamas and said, ‘Hey, I’m gonna give you all extra a month. You’re gonna go from this to this. Either you cool with it or you’re not. If you ain’t cool with it, then do what you got to do, you feel me?’ I haven’t had any problem.”
