One Free Agent Target For Each NFL Team
Thursday March 9th starts the beginning of NFL free agency. We all wish for our favorite team to sign the best free agent available but that's not the case sometimes. Let's go through every NFL team and give them a free agent they should target.
Arizona Cardinals- WR Alshon Jeffery- With Larry Fitzgerald probably playing in his last season and Michael Floyd who was cut last season Jeffery can be that primary target in Arizona for years to come.
Atlanta Falcons- WR DeSean Jackson- If they lose speedster Taylor Gabriel in free agency Jackson can fill his role with ease.
Baltimore Ravens- SS Tony Jefferson- Eric Weedle is getting older and Matt Elam might be getting cut after his recent arrest.
Buffalo Bills- RB Latavius Murray- A one two punch with LeSean McCoy and Murray can help a offense who might have a rookie quarterback starting.
Carolina Panthers- OL Matt Kalil- Last season Cam Newton was getting knocked around all over the field last season. The Panthers need to address their offensive line in the off-season and Kalil is their prime target.
Chicago Bears- QB Mike Glennon- The Bears are one of three teams currently without a starting quarterback and can find one in free agency with Glennon.
Cincinnati Bengals- OL Russell Okung- With Andrew Whitworth ready to hit the open market, Okung can be a younger replacement if they lose Whitworth.
Cleveland Browns- QB Tyrod Taylor- Once again the Browns don't know who will be starting week one, but if the Bills cut Taylor lose expect the Browns to pursue him aggressively.
Dallas Cowboys- CB Darrelle Revis or RB Adrian Peterson- Jerry Jones wants to win a Super Bowl now so landing either Peterson or Revis might get them over that playoff hump.
Denver Broncos- QB Tony Romo- Had trouble finding a starter last year as they used both Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch adding Romo can help that offense back on track and help develop their young QBs.
Detroit Lions- CB Stephon Gillmore- Lions need another corner to pair up with Darius Slay and Gillmore can be that guy.
Green Bay Packers- TE Martellus Bennett- With Jared Cook heading into free agency, Bennett can be that starting tight end Green Bay has been looking for.
Houston Texans- CB AJ Bouye- Had a excellent year last season for the Texans would be a huge hit to the defense if they lose him in free agency.
Indianapolis Colts- LB Nick Perry- Colts defense needs pass rushers and Perry is the best one available.
Jacksonville Jaguars- C Nick Mangold- Jacksonville gets a veteran on their offensive line.
Kansas City Chiefs- DT Dontari Poe- After re-signing Eric Berry the Chiefs will now focus their attention on bringing back their star defensive tackle.
Los Angeles Chargers- WR Brandon Marshall- A veteran wide receiver to go along with Keenan Allen, Travis Benjamin and Tyrell Williams.
Los Angeles Rams- WR Alshon Jeffery- Rams need a number one target for Jared Goff.
Miami Dolphins- LB Lawrence Timmons- Miami had the 30th worst run defense adding a veteran in Timmons can help.
Minnesota Vikings- CB Prince Amukamara- Terrence Newman is heading into free agency and getting older so adding Amukmara can fill that role left by Newman.
New England Patriots- RB Adrian Peterson- Imagine a offense with Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Adrian Peterson.
New Orleans Saints- CB AJ Bouye or CB Stephon Gillmore- Saints need help in their secondary so adding either Bouye or Gillmore is just the start.
New York Giants- WR Terrelle Pryor- Giants cut Victor Cruz earlier this off-season and Pryor can fit in with Sterling Shepard and Odell Beckham.
New York Jets- LB Dont'a Hightower- The Jets need plenty of needs but if they can sign Hightower their middle linebacker position is set for years to come.
Oakland Raiders- DE Calais Campbell- Adding a veteran pass rusher can put the Oakland Raiders defense over the top.
Philadelphia Eagles- RB Jamaal Charles- Looking for a reunion with former offensive coordinator Doug Pederson, Charles can help speed up that offense if he can stay healthy.
Pittsburgh Steelers- CB Darrelle Revis- A homecoming for Revis as he spends his last couple of years in the league in Pittsburgh.
San Fransico 49ers- QB Kirk Cousins- Kirk re-unites with Kyle Shanahan in San Fransico.
Seattle Seahawks- CB Dre Kirkpatrick- Seattle finds a number two cornerback in Kirkpatrick.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers- WR Pierre Garcon- Buccaneers need to find a solid number two wide out and Garcon can fill that role.
Tennessee Titans- WR Alshon Jeffery- A Alshon Jeffery and Marcus Mariota connection can bolster the Titans offense.
Washington Redskins- QB Kirk Cousins- If Washington losses Cousins they go right back to square one and need to find their starting quarterback for the future.
