Patriots Twitter Goes Off On Jason Pierre-Paul For Saying He’ll Sack Brady
Part of the New England Patriots' more enthusiastic fan base exists on the internet in much the same way the Mongols existed in Eurasia at the beginning of the last millennium. They're a ravenous caravan of hyper-proud berserkers who'll devour any and everything in their path. If you so much as insinuate that maybe Tom Brady isn't the greatest human being to have ever lived, more than one person will scream obscenities at you through their keyboard. Believe me -- I've seen it firsthand. They are the ruling class of psycho sports fans.
Not all of them, of course -- or even most of them -- but their militarized wing can be devastating if provoked. From kids to old women, these people are as varied as they are angry and they do not back down from a fight. And believe me -- it doesn't take much to set them off.
New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul -- the guy who was already the target of the internet's jeering for blowing off 1.5 fingers last Fourth of July -- issued a very mild threat to the Pats' quarterback-demigod. What else was he supposed to say? "I'm not going to try and sack Tom Brady because he's so amazing"? I find literally nothing wrong with the following statement...
JPP on Tom Brady: "You don't know. He could have an off game. He could be sick. I hope he's sick. That'd be better for us."

Patriots Twitter, on the other hand, took it as an opportunity to go after J.P.P.'s mangled hand. What'd you expect?
@mrphilGT and JPP could blow up his other hand with fireworks. Dumbass!
