Phil Jackson Says Daniel Snyder 'Just Doesn't Get It,' Backs Name Change
So on the side of changing Washington's NFL logo and nickname: Phil Jackson. On the side of not changing it: Matthew McConaghey. I think we know where this is going.
proud of Demonstrators at Vikings game yesterday. Keep the pressure on Snider. He just doesn't get it.

Somehow, 11 championship rings gives you a little more gravitas than Snyder's, um, zero.
Anyway, this is proof that protests can influence public opinion. About 5,000 people came out in Minnesota on Sunday when Washington played at the Vikings, and the protest was loud, yet peaceful. Just another brick removed from Snyder's wall of stubborness.
Jackson previously discussed his objection to Washington’s name in a Q & A last month with The Post’s Steve Serby, the Montana native saying his view was shaped by experiences at the University of North Dakota and as an “honorary member” of the Lakota Sioux Nation.
