Pre Preseason Fantasy Football Player Rankings Update: Lamar Miller Rockets Up
If anything, I am a man of my word. Since the NFL Draft, I have gone on record saying Jay Ajayi was the name to watch for the Dolphins and rookie running backs. He is a very talented player, and Miller - as good as he was Fantasy wise - was rather poor in pass pro. There was also plenty of talk within the organization that Miller wasn't completely willing to put forth the effort and improve.
Apparently, the drafting of Ajayi woke up Miller. He's made significant strides all while Ajayi has struggled in practice, especially with ball security and his own pass pro issues. Joe Philbin even offered up the fact that Miller is in line for more work this year. Well, as promised, Miller moves way up my 2015 Fantasy Football player rankings. In fact, he goes from RB31 to RB11. Yep, big jump. There were a few other notable changes: the Texans backfield, a few receiver moves, but the two Dolphins running backs were easily the most affected by the update.
