Rams Take Out Another Cardinals QB
Back in Week 10 Cardinals QB Carson Palmer tore his ACL against the Rams, and was lost for the season. Tonight, in Week 15, Cardinals QB Drew Stanton left the field on a cart after being sacked by the Rams (he will not return to the game). The apparent St. Louis pre-game strategy against Arizona is "Kill QB," and now the Cards' best offensive weapon is kicker Chandler Catanzaro (he and punter Drew Butler are on fire tonight).
The Cardinals charged out of the gate with a 9-1 record, even with Palmer out for three weeks. But now that he's permanently on the shelf, they've only managed one win in three games. To be fair, it's been the Arizona defense that has kept them in most games, even when their offense hasn't shown up. But with both Palmer and Stanton off the field, and the Cards turning to the mediocre Ryan Lindley, the D won't be able to carry this team by itself.

So at this point, the 10-3 Cards have nowhere to go but down. Just like their QBs.
