Ray Lewis Hanged In Effigy In Pittsburgh (Photo)
Wow. Steelers fans really don't like the Ravens.
Deadspin posted a picture that they received from an anonymous tipster that shows Ray Lewis, the Baltimore Ravens middle linebacker, hanging in effigy somewhere in "suburban Pittsburgh" (yikes). According to the person that sent it in, it was posted on a friend's Facebook page with the caption "Thanks for playing."
While the Patriots and Jets may have the more media-friendly rivalry (what with all of the crazy tabloid covers and whatnot), the Steelers-Ravens feud is something that's a bit more... heated. It's evident any time the two teams play (there's not a more physical rivalry in all of sports), and in the week leading up to today's playoff game things have been taken to a whole new level of hatred.
Terrell Suggs, the outspoken Raven linebacker, recently wore a t-shirt with a rather provocative message for Steelers fans. Now, apparently, they've responded.
