This Guy Says He Bet His Life Savings On A 49ers/Bengals Parlay, And We Really Hope He’s Lying

I'm no financial planner, but I'm fairly certain it's unwise to bet your life savings on getting two football games right. Go 2-for-2, increase your life savings by almost 250%. Go 0-for-2, have no money. Go 1-for-2, also have no money.
Yeah, it's just about everything I have. If I win I'm moving to the Bay area and getting an SBL at the new stadium.
I don't know what an SBL is (Sersonal Beat License?), but it doesn't appear to be worth risking your life savings to acquire.
In all seriousness, I didn't believe this at first glance, and I still don't. It would be a good photoshop, but good photoshops are widespread.
I'm not 100% sure of it, but I think the website in the screenshot is Bovada, a site that has a $1,000 limit on NFL parlays. It's also incredibly difficult, perhaps impossible, to be a random American dude who doesn't bet big on sports regularly and deposit over $65,000 into an online account. Your bank would probably have a heart attack and cancel the transaction immediately if you tried to deposit this much money.
So, yeah, I call bullshit. I reached out to the dude for comment, and I'll keep you posted.
If he's somehow not lying, though, the implied odds of him winning this bet are around 25%. So, good luck, man. You'll need it (if somehow you're not lying.)
He did save face with this:
In the unlikely event that I actually lose this bet, I still have a job and a place to live and food in the kitchen and beer in the fridge. It's not like my life will be over.
The money was a combination of saving paychecks, and making money off of speculating bitcoins and stocks. Not quite enough to significantly alter the course of my life, which is why I'm throwing it all in on a one-shot to try to do so.
Unlikely ≠ 75%. But, hey, it's not like probabliity has any relevance in sports and gambling!
If this is somehow true, this man is the ultimate fool. But I would not like to see him lose, so I suppose I would root for the 49ers and Bengals on that off chance. Even if he's not lying, and does win, he's still a moron. And if that happens, hopefully he has enough money to get his brain fixed and never do this again.
UPDATE: Our California expert, Rick Chandler, has informed me that SBL stands for Stadium Builders License, which is just another term for PSL, Personal Seat License.)
