The Bye Bye Man: Dean Spanos Ready To Announce Chargers Are Moving To Los Angeles
The same day that the NFL gave them a two-day extension to decide whether they are going to relocate, the San Diego Chargers apparently are ready to announce that they don't need it. According to at least two reports, the Chargers will announce, possibly by Thursday, that they're moving to Los Angeles.
This ends a 55-year stint in San Diego, where their core fan base has been loyal but lacking in numbers, especially in recent seasons. Also, voters recently turned down a proposal for a new stadium.
A stunner: Chargers plan to announce as early as Thursday they are moving to LA, ending 55-year stint with SD, league sources tell ESPN.

The Chargers will share the new Inglewood NFL stadium with the Rams. No word yet on where they'll play their games in the interim.

The Los Angeles metropolitan area would be the home of two teams in every major sport by 2018 if the Chargers moved to Los Angeles. pic.twitter.com/26RBJRgINt
