RGIII Already In Midseason Form: Injured In Preseason Game
Fans complain that the NFL preseason means nothing and that the players they want to see are pulled too early. That is, right up until they get hurt. Then they wonder why the idiot coach left them in so damn long. For Washington's perpetually-injured Robert Griffin III, that length of time was a little more than a quarter against Detroit (even if he's the best QB in the League... just ask him).
Pretty sure RGIII had a head injury the other day when he claimed to be the best QB in the league. ☕️

After already being beat up all night, Griffin went to retrieve his own fumble and then got hit the head by a Detroit defender. He then decided to lie there on the turf for three minutes (actually it wasn't really his decision). After he was removed and taken to the lockerroom, he was diagnosed with a right-shoulder stinger and some type of head issue (probably a concussion). And while the fumble looked to be all RGIII, the real culprit was the O-Line, which gave him less protection than the Secret Service after a night in a Columbian brothel. Although oddly enough, they seem to be hitting their blocks now that Colt McCoy is in.

NFL break: When RGIII is in, it's like the whole O-line acts like the one dude in Remember the Titans who refuses to block.

Really says something when RGIII goes down and the O-Line starts to block effectively. I really think dude isn't liked internally

LT Trent Williams was out for the game, so the Redskins decided to go with some dudes they found out in the parking lot. With a starting QB who seems to be made of tissue paper, Washington better figure out a way to protect him, or it will be a long season for the Skins. And a very short one for RGIII.
RGIII got a concussion eating a sandwich once
