Rob Gronkowski Doesn’t Like Beer, Nor Does Know How To Spell Dawg
Rob Gronkowski is supposed to be the ultimate frat bro. He's amazing at football, we assume sleeps with countless women and is obviously a heavy drinking party animal. Like come on, he created the Gronk Cruise. But in a video he did with Katie Nolan last week for DraftKings, Rob Gronkowski let us all down. You see evidently Rob Gronkowski doesn't like beer. The taste, the heaviness in your stomach. It all just doesn't do it for Gronk. Katie Nolan is just as stunned as you are right now in this DraftKings video.
Not only does Gronk not drink beer but his preferred drink is a vodka water. We have to imagine it's Grey Goose rather than the Svedka we drink. We would need a lot more than just water to chase that vodka. And yes, Gronk uses a splash of cranberry to feel really nice.
So that was the surprising revelation. Now it's time for the not so surprising revelation. Rob Gronkowski has a bit of trouble spelling. He even has a bit of trouble when the words are not supposed to be spelled right.
Let's take the word "dawg" for instance. Now we aren't sure calling someone dawg has been a thing for the last decade or so. But we guess that if Gronk is the one doing it, we probably should follow suit. Anyway, when describing to Katie Nolan the reason he couldn't make it to the opening of "Captain America: Civil War", Gronk described his conversation with the star Chris Evans.
Evans invited Gronk and several other Patriots to the opening. Gronkowski was in Florida training and couldn't make it. He told Evans, "Sorry Dawg." Except, when telling the story back to Nolan, he totally mangled the spelling of dawg. Is it dogg? Is it just dog? Why is "w" such a tough letter to get out?
Basically the moral of the story is that Gronk is still going to Gronk. We can rest easy now.
