Rush Limbaugh: 'Do We Have To Execute Ray Rice At Half-Time?'
Rush Limbaugh thinks the furor over Roger Goodell's handling of the Ray Rice situation has become about political correctness gone haywire. (Shakes fist at cloud.) Is anyone surprised? Of course not. Here are some choice quotes from the conservative radio personality.
[The Rush Limbaugh Show] "When you try to appease every malcontent, and I’m talking about the NFL leadership."
"Am I missing something? Was [Roger] Goodell in the elevator, too? Did he hit Ray Rice's wife?"
“Are we getting to the point we’re going to have to execute Ray Rice during half-time of an NFL game, folks?”
"The league announced that they're gonna have a couple of boners oversee the independent investigators."
"What I'm seeing here, in the NFL, the institution that allows thousands of African-Americans to become millionaires, under assault from white liberals."
"Harvey Levin, the new Walter Cronkite..."
"I could see this coming when the left started going nuts about concussions four years ago."
"Roger Goodell is the most politically correct commissioner of all-time, and he's under assault...because he's trying to protect the NFL from the cultural rot and the university system that supplies players to his league."
"As pink as it's been...I really can't wait to see what they do [for breast cancer awareness month], cause they really have to show the fans they love women and don't think they should be beat up in elevators in New Jersey casinos."
Apparently if you're pissed about the league's bungling of Rice's suspension you're a white liberal. Hear his full rant about how "nags" are destroying the NFL, below.
