Saturday Night Live Season Premiere Picks Over Remains Of NFL, Roger Goodell
" I see what you're getting at, and let me be perfectly clear. School buses are yellow, or sometimes orange, as the case may be."
Kenan Thompson had Ray Lewis pretty well nailed down, and Jay Pharaoh took his Shannon Sharpe impression to a ridiculous extreme in the Saturday Night Live season premiere. Chris Pratt was the host and did a serviceable Roger Goodell ("I'd like to thank all the people who stood by me: Daniel Snyder, Michael Vick ..."). But SNL never looked more like old media than it did here, picking over the bleached bones of the league's domestic violence crisis long after John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart and the network late night talk hosts had already made all the good jokes and salient points.
Anyway, take a look and see what you think -- including whether you believe that Sunday is "Candy time" for Candy Crowley.
