You think Ted Wells was generally aware that his new apartment was owned by the first family of tennis?
The DeflateGate investigator -- whose report is currently being dissected by a US District Judge just a mile south of his new pad -- recently purchased the space for the surprisingly reasonable price of $2.1 million. (We say "reasonable" only because it's midtown Manhattan.) Back in 2005, the Williams sisters paid $1.34 million for the space, which is basically a long hallway on the 10th floor of a building two blocks south of Bryant Park. Since then, they've won a combined 17 Grand Slams, which amounts to something around $50 million, so the fact that they didn't double/triple/quadruple their money probably isn't keeping them awake at night.
