Skip Bayless Floats Conspiracy That NFL Favors Odell Beckham Jr.
WARNING: Contents of the following take are dangerously hot. Handle with caution.
"The league office wants him to be the star he can be," Skip Bayless said Tuesday. "Is it now possible that the league is driving his bandwagon?"
No. No it is not.
"I got to tell you, it seemed to me that on two other key Odell Beckham Jr. plays in the game, the 24-24 touchdown and the third and 3 play at the end of the game that killed the clock, it seemed like the league was all about giving him the benefit of the doubt. If we could see the play that was the 24-24 touchdown in which he made a sensational play to get his toes down in the end zone, everybody seemed to fixate on that part, but then he goes to the ground, Odell Beckham Jr., silly me, I was under the impression you cannot use the ground to help you retain control of the football and that's exactly what he did. He needed the ground to have control."
How about this: is it possible that ESPN favors Skip Bayless by letting him say this kind of stuff on live television? "First Take" has jumped the shark, folks.
