#SORRYNOTSORRY, DALLAS: Tony Romo Appears Quite Joyful In Latest Twitter Video
On Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Tony Romo would be released by the Dallas Cowboys. By Thursday that story had shifted a bit, with Chris Mortensen reporting that the Cowboys will seek to trade him instead - which was their expected course of action.
Either way, Thursday's flurry of activity in free agency has resulted in one clear landing spot for Romo: the Houston Texans. The 2016 playoff team traded away Brock Osweiler to the Cleveland Browns, presumably to clear the way for Romo. At this point, it seems like the dimpled wonder's short migration from Dallas to Houston is all but inevitable.
And while the Cowboys are the only team that Romo has ever known, he really doesn't seem that sad about it. Here he is in a video, vaguely thanking "everyone" for their support:
Candace may be sick of the sad music, but it's obviously not affecting Tony. He looks happier than I've seen him in years. If he is planning on landing in Houston, it won't require much of a lifestyle change, which would definitely make the transition easier.
Needless to say, the reactions to Romo's chipper-as-hell message to the fans had them feeling a bit emotional, and the reactions were priceless.
