Steelers RB DeAngelo Williams Can’t Stand Christmas Decorations Before Thanksgiving
How much does celebrating Christmas before Thanksgiving annoy DeAngelo Williams?
Enough that the Pittsburgh Steelers backup running back parted ways with friends who had Christmas decorations up before Turkey Day.
In a video he posted to his Twitter on Monday, Williams listed the early celebration of Christmas in his top 10 pet peeves. He also ridiculed a few of his now former friends for putting their Christmas trees and decorations up before Thanksgiving.

"It's people that put up Christmas trees or Christmas lights ... before Thanksgiving, it's something that really grinds my gears and it really bothers me," Williams told SportsGrid in an interview Tuesday. "Just celebrate the holidays as they come. Picking and choosing which holidays you want to celebrate before the other one just bothers me. Like your thankful for this, that, and the other thing, but you set your Christmas tree up yesterday. One holiday at a time people, one holiday at time."
Williams' wife even had to stop him from telling their neighbor that they were "annexed from the neighborhood because they have their Christmas stuff up and Thanksgiving hasn't even gotten here."
Judging by his previous reactions, it's fair to say Williams will disown any Steelers teammate who goes Black Friday shopping after their Thanksgiving showdown with the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday.
