Texans’ Stephen Anderson is a Sneaky Play for Week 14
Blaine Gabbert vs. Tennessee Titans: Although Blaine Gabbert hasn’t been eye-popping in the stat sheets since taking over for Carson Palmer, he hasn’t been awful either. He is averaging two touchdowns per game since entering the lineup and in Week 14, he draws a Titans secondary that is tied for the second-most scores allowed to opposing quarterbacks. The matchup bodes well for a Cardinals offense that is very one-dimensional. If you are going into your playoffs in seasonal leagues and streaming at the position, Gabbert could be an intriguing option for you. In DFS, he could very well be a longshot play ($6,600 on Fanduel) that exceeds his value and allows you to spend more at other positions.

Frank Gore at Buffalo Bills: The ageless wonder that is Frank Gore continues to hold off Marlon Mack and be a vital part of the Colts’ offense. He’s getting anywhere between 13-17 carries per week, meaning you at least see some volume here. This week, the Colts travel to Buffalo to face a Bills defense that has allowed the most rushing scores to opposing backs. Look for the Colts to lean on Gore to keep them competitive in this game. He will be worth a look at the flex spot in your season-long lineups and in DFS, he could be a sneaky play (just $5,500 on FanDuel!) who determines the difference between cashing or crashing.
Kenny Stills vs. New England Patriots: Surprisingly, Kenny Stills is a Top 24 receiver at this point in the Fantasy season. In Week 14, the Dolphins will find themselves trailing for most of the game against the Patriots. That means you could see plenty action from Stills and the garbage-time passing attack, the primary source of his production. In season-long league playoffs, plug Stills into your WR3 spot this week. In DFS, he may be lost in the shuffle at the position, making him a low-owned, sneaky play that will far exceed the value of his $5,700 price tag.
Stephen Anderson vs. San Francisco 49ers: Stephen Alexander is a player that most Fantasy owners don’t know about. The Texans’ coaches have been high on him in recent weeks, and they’ve been trying to get him more snaps with the first team. Last week, he came out in a big way with 12 targets for 79 yards and a score. In Week 14, his matchup against the 49ers doesn’t look great on paper, but this team will still want to find a way to get him the ball. If you have gotten to this point in your league by streaming players at the position, give Anderson a look in seasonal lineups. In DFS, he is virtually free at just $4,500 on FanDuel. Throw him into your lineup, so you can spend up at other positions.
Patrick Murray vs. Detroit Lions: Patrick Murray has been among the Top 10 kickers in scoring over the last month, and with the Lions defense playing very poorly lately, I expect to see his scoring trend continue. He should easily be in your seasonal lineups for playoff purposes this week, and in DFS, he will be a cheap sneaky play on the FanDuel board at $4,500.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Oakland Raiders: Call it a gut feeling, but I think the underperforming Chiefs defense will come to play in this divisional matchup at home against the hated Raiders. With Derek Carr and company struggling to put points on the board, the Chiefs could very well be one of the highest scoring units in Week 14. This defense could be one reason you move on in your seasonal-league playoffs, so get this sneaky play into your lineups.
