That Touchdown Catch By Antonio Gates Vs. Seattle Was Sick (UPDATE: Chargers Win)
The Super Bowl champs are in trouble in San Diego, because the Chargers found a way to overcome their red zone penalty binge to come away with a touchdown and a 27-14 lead with about three minutes left in the third quarter. Philip Rivers' 21-yard scoring pass to Antonio Gates (is this 2009?), in which Gates hauled it in with his left paw, is the latest score.
And can we say that if Seattle played all its games on the road, they'd finish 3-13?
UPDATE: Seattle just went down and scored before the end of the third quarter, and it's 27-21.
Need to double check game logs but believe this is the 1st 3TD performance by Gates since 10-30-05 vs KC

Since 1960, only 5 players have had 3 Rec TD in a game at an older age than Antonio Gates (34 years, 88 days): http://t.co/RmpKkfeMz5
