levis stadiumThe San Francisco 49ers’ new Levi’s Stadium is ready for the start of the 2014 NFL season. Fittingly, the stadium built in the Silicon Valley will have an unrivaled level of technological infrastructure. Yahoo’s Rand Getlin detailed what 49ers fans can expect:

You know where there are no beer or bathroom lines and plenty of WiFi access? Your home. Sports stadiums are slowly turning into giant living rooms that seat 80,000 people. There’s no denying this is what the majority of sports fans want. Right now, the home is the best place to watch the NFL. To compete with the humble living room, NFL teams have to go to absurd lengths to give the fans all the comforts of their house.

Eventually, NFL stadiums will be so nice small communities will inhabit them full-time, and the final transformation between sporting event and life will be complete.
