The Rams Are Rolling Back Beer And Hot Dog Prices To 1999 Levels For Monday Night Football
Can going to a Rams game get any cheaper? And can the St. Louis organization get any more desperate to attract fans to what is apparently a terrible stadium, featuring a terrible team, which is about to make a terrible move to L.A.? The answer: Yes, but barely.
A few days after noticing that tickets for the Monday Night Football game between the Rams and 49ers are crazy cheap on Stubhub (they were as low as eight bucks on Tuesday -- they're up to $13 as of this writing), the Rams announced via Twitter last night that they would do a "1999 prices" rollback special:

That's $2 dogs and $3 beers. Mind the fine print though -- the beer special is in the "Bud Light Party Zone" before the game, which means you'll have to show up early if you want to get hammered for relatively cheap. And it'll be Bud Light too, which means you'll have to buy at least 12 to get your money's worth.
Obviously, the Rams are looking at this rollback special the wrong way. People don't want 1999 prices. They want the 1999 TEAM. Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Isaac Bruce, London Fletcher, where you at?
