Tom Brady Just Posted This Photo Of Himself, Wins The Internet For Today
Remember when you all thought that Tom Brady was finished? Don't deny it. His obituary was written on Sept. 29, when the Patriots lost to the Chiefs 41-14.
But since then the Patriots have won four straight, among the victories a 43-17 win over the Bengals and 51-23 drubbing of the Bears. In those four games he's completed 69.4 percent of his passes with a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 14-to-0 and a passer rating of 129.1. Since that loss to the Chiefs, he's 100-of-144 for 1,268 yards, 14 touchdowns, no interceptions. That includes a 30-for-35 effort vs. Chicago.
He's feeling so good about himself that he posted this above on his Facebook page today. Except for the Photoshopped headband, it may be my favorite Brady photo ever. Gotta lay off the Halloween candy if you want to make the NBA, kid.
So Denver is at New England on Sunday for the 16th Brady-Manning showdown (Brady leads 10-5), a game that should go a long way toward establishing the favorite for the AFC half of the Super Bowl.
By the way, Brady gave up basketball after his sophomore year of high school, preferring to concentrate on football and baseball (the latter which everyone was sure would be his path to the pros).
