Tom Brady On Hard Knocks: “I Hate The Jets, And Refuse To Support That Show”
"I'm sure it's great TV," he went on. "I'm glad people are liking it. But that's just something that I have no interest in watching. I'd love to say a lot of mean things, but I'd rather not do that, either."
When asked if hooded mastermind Bill Belichick would every allow cameras into Patriots practice, Brady said it would have to be Belichick's last year of coaching for that to happen.
"If you ever hear that he's allowed that to happen," he said. "I wouldn't think there'd be another year after that. He hasn't told me. Believe me, I have no inside information on that."
I actually think this is kind of cool: a normal stock answer would be, "No, I haven't watched the show, but I hear great things."
Brady's response, however, maintains the desired level of hate you'd want from a quarterback talking about a division rival. Good luck seeing this in a post-Pat Riley era New York Knicks NBA, where everyone is AAU buddies, forms super teams together, and gets Skittles machines made for them. Taste the rainbow.
The Patriots play the Jets, in New York, on September 19th.
