Tom Brady’s Courtroom Sketch Is Running For President
Think the Republican Presidential field is crowded? You have no idea. There are actually 867 candidates registered with the Federal Election Committee, and the list is available online (you can see them all here). Of course Donald Trump, Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton are there, but so is Jesus Dog Lord Ickes, a write-in candidate who filed last week.
And you don't have to be the real Michael Jordan to run for President -- as one guy did. Also filed: Forrest Gump (a Democrat), Marshawn Lynch (Peace and Freedom Party), Beast Mode, Rocky Balboa, and Bippy the Clown (listed as "The Clown, Bippy").
But my favorite candidate so far: Tom Brady Sketch. Yep, the courtroom rendering of the Patriots' quarterback from the Deflategate hearings has registered with the FEC as a write-in candidate. Here's the paperwork.

As far as I can tell, Tom Brady Sketch is the only candidate who has filed so far who isn't a real flesh and blood person. Until, that is, SpongeBob SquarePants finally makes up his mind.
