Top Ten NFL Free Agents Still Available
After the first wave of free agency has completed we take a look at the ten best remaining free agents left on the market. Whats in store for the second wave of free agency? Are the Cowboys going to finally get rid of Tony Romo? Which running back is going to sign first? Is any team going to take a chance on Darrelle Revis?
Best Free Agents available:
LB Dont'a Hightower- The 27 old is the best free agent still available. He has 372 tackles in five years and is an excellent run stopper. Potential Suitors- New England Patriots, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers.
DT Dontari Poe- One of the best defensive tackles in the league is still on the market looking for a team. Many teams are questionable on Poe back injury. The Kansas City Chiefs still want their defensive stud back, but Poe has been visiting different teams the last week. Potential Suitors- Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars
LB Zach Brown- Led the league in tackles with 149 last season. Only 27 years old Brown proved that he can be a dominant linebacker. Potential Suitors- New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, Oakland Raiders
RB Eddie Lacy- Had a great first two years but declined the last two seasons as his weight became a problem. He only played five games last season as he missed the rest of the season with ankle surgery. Potential Suitors- Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers
QB Tony Romo- Does anyone want Romo? Last two seasons Romo has seen the injured reserve more than field. He lost his starting job to Dak Prescott last season and now its time for Romo to find another job. Potential Suitors- Denver Broncos, Houston Texans
C Nick Mangold- The veteran center is looking for a new job after being cut by the New York Jets earlier this month. Mangold is savy veteran that can help any offensive line. Potential Suitors- Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings
CB Darrelle Revis- One of the best corners in the league had a disappointing season last season. Many people believe Revis is losing his touch and can't guard one on one anymore. Potential Suitors- Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks
RB Adrian Peterson- Mr. 2,000 yard rusher is looking for a new team and after suffering a knee injury last season many teams have been hesitant on signing AP. Potential Suitors- Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots
RB Jamaal Charles- League leader with the most yards per carry with 5.5 is also looking for a new team as he was released by the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this month. Charles has a history with knee injuries as he tore his ACL twice. Potential Suitors- Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers
CB Morris Claiborne- Former first round pick has been looking like a bust, but after having a decent season last season Claiborne can be a solid number two or slot corner. Potential Suitors- New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints
