VIDEO: Giants Complete Longest Pass Play Allowed By Patriots In Belichick Era
I know this is going to come as a huge shock, but the Giants are currently playing extremely well against the Patriots. Wasting absolutely no time in putting New England on their toes, Eli Manning completed a monstrous pass to Odell Beckham Jr. that would go for 87 yards and the touchdown to tie the game at 7-7.
That is the longest pass play to be allowed by the Patriots defense during Bill Belichick's tenure as head coach. Belichick has been the head coach in New England since the 2000 season.
Prior to Sunday's game the Patriots had only allowed one 100-yard game to a receiver this year: the Steelers' Antonio Brown, who had nine receptions for 133 yards and a touchdown in the inaugural game of the 2015 regular season.
