VIDEO: Vintage Chris Johnson Embarrassing The Ravens On MNF
Remember back in 2009 when Chris Johnson rushed for over 2,000 yards and 14 touchdowns and was going to be the greatest running back since Ladainian Tomlinson? Well if not, this touchdown run on Monday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens will definitely remind you.
Johnson's performance in his first season with the Cardinals just goes to show what playing on a talented team and good coaching can do for a guy with the natural ability that he possesses. Also, shout out to Michael Floyd for that killer block.
Johnson is clearly trying to cement his a comeback after accumulating just 663 yards and one touchdown in 2014 with the Jets. Through Week 7 this season, Johnson has 566* yards and three touchdowns; putting him on pace to finish the season with a very respectable 1,294 yards rushing and 7 touchdowns.
UPDATE: CJ also had the run of the week later in the third quarter of the same game when a heads up decision to keep running after the Ravens thought he was down turned into a 62 yard gain for the Cardinals. Check it out:
* Includes his current total of 121 yards and 1 TD through the 3rd quarter of Week 7 Monday Night Football game vs. the Ravens.
