VIDEO: Watch Colin Kaepernick Throw Two Early TD Passes To The Cardinals

The San Francisco 49ers had a pretty brutal off-season. They started 2015 with a new coach and an almost unrecognizable defense, which is why most people were shocked by their decent 20-3 win over the Vikings in Week 1. Then they got their asses kicked in Week 2 by the Steelers in a 43-18 blowout, and everyone started thinking maybe they are as bad as we thought they'd be.
Then this happened on their first offensive drive of their game against the Cardinals in Glendale on Sunday, and things started to come into focus.
There's no better way to deflate any belief in you or your team than to throw a pick-six as soon as you step on the field. But everyone knows that if you really want people to give up on you, you do it twice before the first quarter is even over.
Here's the 49er's second possession:
That's inexcusable. Brandon Weeden, Josh McCown and Michael Vick all played quarterback in the NFL today and they look like Tom Brady compared to that mess.
It didn't get any better after that for the 49ers either. Carson Palmer threw his first interception of the season in the waning minutes of the first half, giving Kapernick and the Niners a chance to make it a two possession game heading into halftime.
That would be Tyrann Mathieu's second interception of Kaepernick in the game so far, which means he has as many receptions from Kaep as the 49ers leading receiver does. Yeesh.
The ensuing Cardinals possession culminated a 22-yard Chandler Catanzaro field goal, for a score of 31-7 as the game entered halftime. There is very little reason to believe that the second half will go any better for the visiting team, so take this time to enjoy the hilarity of the internet with these goofs on the terrible start for Kaep and the Niners.
