Was DeMarco Murray The Ace Up Chip Kelly’s Sleeve This Whole Time?

Anyone still wondering if Chip Kelly still knows what he's doing? After a breakout season in Dallas with over 1,800 yards and 13 touchdowns, DeMarco Murray is reportedly on his way to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles today.
[Adam Schefter] Pro-Bowl RB DeMarco Murray is flying to Philadelphia this morning with the expectation he will be an Eagle, per a league source.
Dallas has had numerous chances to resign Murray throughout the year and now.
Aside from the contract, the Eagles are most appealing to Murray because of his belief in their chance to win.
Murray would consider a final, last minute offer from the cowboys, per source, but he's going to Philadelphia with the intent to sign.
If true, this massive NFC East free agency move lets us know three things:
1) Chip Kelly isn't overhauling his roster exclusively to increase his chances of trading up for a rookie quarterback, because Murray is 27 years old and the window to win with him is only two seasons.
2) Trading for Sam Bradford was probably done because Kelly actually wants Sam Bradford to play quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, and not because he planned to trade Bradford again for a higher draft pick.
