Weather Channel Anchors Audition To Replace Skip Bayless On “First Take”
Meteorologists never really have the ability to ad lib. The weather is what it is and no matter how accurate they are, they are just judged on how great they sound. On Sunday morning, Paul Goodloe and Keith Carson decided to screw the stereotype and talk a little sports.
For some reason, Carson decided to bring up Tom Brady and the reason everyone decides to hate on the Patriots. Why, Carson asks? "Because he's good." Playing the role of Skip Bayless, Carson wouldn't even let Goodloe comment on the matter, just repeating himself over and over until Goodloe could only laugh awkwardly. Goodloe kept trying to get his point in and Carson would not let it happen. Eventually, Goodloe conceded how good of a player Brady is, but chastised the Patriots for needing to "do all that stuff". Carson begged to move on, but Goodloe would not let it go. It sounded like a good episode of "First Take".
In fact the segment sounded so much like "First Take", Carson brought up Skip Bayless. He just couldn't remember who Skip's former cohost was. Carson mentions how The Weather Channel isn't ESPN, and that Skip and "whatever his name is can debate this." Stephen A. better be giving major daps to Paul Goodloe because again Goodloe does not let the conversation die. He mentions Stephen A. and even gives a "QUITE FRANKLY" for good measure.
Max Kellerman has not yet been named the permanent co-host alongside Stephen A. There is still time to hire Paul Goodloe! ESPN, Stephen A. make it happen!
