Will The Browns Get A Win? Let’s Take a Look
Well, good people of Cleveland, you who have paid witnessed to what are likely the two most exciting games of the 2016 sports year...one of which that actually played in your favor!...more good fortunate is headed your way, as the 0-12 Cleveland Browns are guaranteed not to lose in Week 13 of the NFL season.
They are on bye, though I hear the boys in Vegas have the bye favored by 3.5.
The Browns, you may have heard, are 0-12 on the season, four chances of infamy away from going 0-16. I'm not sure if the 2008 Detroit Lions toast with Jack Daniels when the last imperfect team falls, but they could very well have some company soon.
Below, we take a look at Cleveland's chances in each of their final four games and if they will reach that epic mark of imperfection...
Week 14 vs Cincinnati
A tradition unlike any other....watching the Bengals completely crash and burn in the playoffs...could be dead, as the playoff version of the Bengals showed up way earlier than anticipated as they currently sit at 3-7-1. They'll also more than likely be missing AJ Green. Nothing would be Bengals-esque than, in the year their customary playoff spot is finally denied, they would be the team that would have allowed the Browns to avoid complete infamy. Can you also envision more of a fitting end to the Marvin Lewis era than a loss to the Browns?

Week 15 @ Buffalo
Don't laugh but the Bills are actually smack dab in the middle of the suddenly very crowded AFC Wild Card picture. So this game is going to mean something to them. In other words...this probably won't be the game. Sure, the Bills may keep far closer than the game should be, but it's not going to be a loss to the Browns that keeps them out of the playoffs. That's going to be a Rex Ryan decision in, say the game against Miami.

Week 16 vs San Diego
Looking for a last minute Christmas gift? Look no further than tickets to the Christmas Eve tilt between the Browns and the Chargers, where tickets are going for as low as a pre-tax $6 on StubHub. You'll probably go down as the lesser loved relative for all eternity, but hey, you'd be giving the giftee a chance to witness history. The reeling Chargers could very well be playing solely for the purpose of not going down into infamy. If that fact escapes them, and personally I don't think Phillip Rivers will let it, lest he unleash a fresh batch of Christmas cheer, they could very well fall victim.

Week 17 @ Pittsburgh
Oh please, please, please, PLEASE cooperate with this dream scenario Browns, Ravens and Steelers. Like I said above, Cleveland has witnessed two...if not THE two...of the most exciting games in 2016. This game takes place on the first day of 2017. If the Browns are 0-15, if the Steelers can win the AFC North with a win....I don't see how the good folks at NBC can possibly think of not making this the Week 17 flex game. It would also represent a perfect microcosm of the Browns-Steelers rivalry since the rebooted Browns entered the league in 1999. Please football gods....let this happen!
On the contrary...if the Steelers already have the North clinched it opens the chance up for the Browns...
SG Odds of a CLE Win: 80-1
Watch It If You Dare: 1:00, CBS....but hopefully 8:30 PM NBC!!!!
