Here’s Bruins Goalie Tim Thomas Getting Chippy With The Canucks’ Alexandre Burrows
June 9 / Mohammed Rahman / SportsGrid
The Boston Bruins have ferociously come back in their Stanley Cup Finals to tie the series at 2 with the Vancouver Canucks. A lot of the credit goes to their all-world goalie, Tim Thomas. He's been back in form between the pipes, but his chippy play has really made this series a must watch.
Boston's new number one villain, Alexandre Burrows (who, in case you're just joining us, did this) swiped at Thomas' stick during a power play late in the third period, down 0-4. This is how Thomas reacted:
Thomas would say, "I thought I'd give you a little love tap... that's all that was." And then what was this in game 3? A friendly chest bump? The series heads back to Vancouver for game 5 on Friday.
